EFIT (Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy)
EFIT is a deeply relational, attachment-based approach to therapy that helps you understand why you feel the way you do — not just how to manage it.
At its core, EFIT is about healing emotional pain at the root. Many of our struggles with anxiety, self-doubt, relationship patterns, or emotional overwhelm come from early experiences of feeling unsafe, unseen, or alone. EFIT helps you gently uncover those patterns and create new, corrective emotional experiences — in real time — within the safety of the therapeutic relationship.
Rather than just talking about your feelings, EFIT helps you feel them safely, understand their meaning, and learn how to respond to yourself with compassion instead of criticism or avoidance. Over time, clients often
notice they feel more secure, more emotionally regulated, and more connected — both to themselves and to others.
EFIT is especially helpful if you:
Feel stuck in repeating emotional or relationship patterns
Struggle with anxiety, shame, or emotional reactivity
Have a history of attachment wounds, neglect, or trauma
Want deeper emotional healing, not just coping strategies
This work is experiential, supportive, and paced carefully — you’re never pushed faster than your nervous system can handle.
